The guys wanted to go check in the rooms before we headed to IKEA, but Laurie and I didn't want to waste any time, so we conveniently missed the exit! It was both of our first time to go to IKEA. It is a bit overwhelming for the newbie! The place is huge and I wasn't really looking for anything. It is too modern for me, but they had tons of cheap organizational stuff which I love. Next time I will not be a newbie and I will have a list of specifics, since I know what all they have now. I left with four toilet bowl brushes(.99 each), two picture frames, a 17 piece storage container set, egg slicer(Pampered Chef one bit the dust after slicing tons of strawberries), and a drawer organizer. It was a fun trip! Everyone HIGHLY recommends the Swedish meatballs, but I don't eat meatballs, so I will just have to take their word for it.
We meet up with everyone at the mall. They were buying Braves gear for the game. Then we headed to Carraba's. YUMMO! We didn't eat lunch, so we were hungry, but it was almost too hot to eat. But I did! ;) Can't pass up some good Italian food. After dinner we were off to the game.
Kaleb was super excited. I was a little worried about how Kaleigh would do, since baseball games are LONG. Here are a few pictures before the game.

Braves coach came by a pitched a ball in Kaleb's glove. THRILLED...YES!!
We had room in front of us, so the kids just ran back and forth between Erik's parents and us. They ate lots of junk food, but it was vacation...right?
The game was no only long, but very slow. The other team only got one hit. So I spent my time taking pictures, reading Facebook, and reading blogs, also, feeding children junk. : / But I got some sweet pictures.

Kaleb dreaming big dreams.
After the game they had a firework show. So we waited around. Kaleigh didn't like the fireworks. She covered her eyes with Amber's arm. As long as see could not see them she was fine. She gets that from me! I feel like if I can't see it, it isn't there! Erik makes fun of me all the time and so do my friends!

After the fireworks we waited in traffic, got lost a few times, went to CVS for cough medicine, and to Steak and Shake for Erik a meal and a shake. Then we were FINALLY off to get showers and sleep.
It was a wonderful day hanging out with family and friends.
