Saturday Family Fun

Saturday we had no real plans except for putt-putt golf. So we slept in, had donuts for breakfast, and googled things to do in Orlando. I ran across the Holy Land Experience and mentioned it to Erik, we both agreed it would be neat, so we packed up and headed off. We spent the day there and it was awesome. I so wish Wilson County would not have voted against the Bible Park a few years back. It would have been awesome. It was slightly expensive and it had a cafe. So it would have made tons of money and supplied tons of jobs, all while teaching about Jesus. The shows were awesome too!
Jesus arrested & beaten.

Nailed to the cross for my sin.

Soldiers guarding the tomb.

Stone rolled away and an EMPTY tomb.

Jesus. Is. ALIVE.
He has risen indeed!

After this 45 minute show, we headed to the cafe for drinks and snacks. Then we went to the kid area. It was cute and we took lots of pictures.
Jonah and the great fish!

Disobedient Jonah floating in the belly of the fish.

Jesus and Kaleb walking on water.

Noah's ark.

                                                           Kaleb and Zacchaeus.

We had a great time. There is indoor and outdoor life size displays. We went through the whole park. They are currently building a huge building for the Church of the Nations. Hope to go back when it is finished. We had fun and it was very educational. You can see all the pictures on my facebook page.

Then we headed back to the room to relax a bit and shower again. It was hot! Then Erik wanted mexican for dinner. I looked up mexican restaurants on my iphone and the closest one was 30 minutes away. So we headed out. We got lost multiple times and it probably took us an hour and a half to get there. I was almost car sick and I don't get car sick. It was way different than the mexican around here. It was a Modern Mexican restaurant called Paxia. But it was sooooo good. After mexican we headed back for a round of putt putt golf.
Erik helping Kaleigh.

My two cuties!

My lil' golfer.

My lil' diva.

Kaleigh was so funny every time they would hit the ball, she would run after it and catch it. So this golf game did not go as intended, but it was great quality time with my sweet family! Kaleb wanted to play another 18 holes, but we had to head home to pack.
We flew out Sunday morning and were glad to be home! We missed the Journey Church! Thank you Jesus for safe travels!
