Fun in the Sun

I tried to get up before the kids this morning to spend time in the Word. I was moving right along when this sweet face joined me. Sorry, it is blurry, it was taken from my iphone.

She laid right on top of my study and my Bible. But she is pretty cute. 

The phone rang shortly after she got up and it was a friend asking us to go to the science day at the Public Library. We would have went had we known sooner, but it was in Lebanon and we are in Mt. Juliet and Kaleb was still snoozing. So we had to pass. Sounds like fun though. Hope our friends had a great time. 

I decided to call the Kimbro family and invite them over to swim. We haven't seen them in forever. I didn't really want to get out, but relaxing by the pool sounded great. So they came over and brought pizza and then we got in the pool around 1pm. It felt amazing! It is so refreshing when it is this hot outside. Kaleigh has no fear in the pool. She loves to go under water and jump in. She thinks she is one of the big kids. 

Jamie has three kids and she keeps a Aubrey during the week. She was brave bringing four kids, but they did great. The kids could have taken over today, they did not. It was six kids vs. two adults. :)

The Kimbro's from greatest to least are Trace, Ansley, and Jack. Here is a picture of Jack. Apparently I didn't get pictures of the other two.

And this my friends, is my lil' Scuba Steve. Kaleb loves the water, but he gets burnt out by the end of summer. Right now it is new and fun! 

It was a fun day. Kaleigh is napping while Kaleb and I cut coupons. Their Gigi is coming over tonight to visit and swim. I should have some great sleepers tonight!

Maybe tomorrow I start blogging about Disney, but for now I must finish couponing, so I can make a grocery run when Gigi gets here!
