Life at Reed Speed: Vacation and Vomit

Vomit... That's right! Ashton, Disney day one (van, roadside, and restaurant) and Kaleigh, Disney day two (van only). We all piled in the mini van to head to Animal Kingdom. Kaleigh was dressed according to the park. Hot pink and white zebra print romper, because we were heading to Animal Kingdom, I thought she needed to wear animal print! As we are pulling in the paring lot, she begins to vomit everywhere! Get your noses ready, the van filled with the smell of soured milk! It was horrible! Luckily, my girl Courtney was sitting beside Kaleigh and not me! ;) Courtney had vomit running down her arm and leg. She is such a trooper. I was sitting up front, fortunately, and was unable to help, because I had to give the attendant money for parking! LOL Vomit is dripping down the car seat onto the regular seat and into the floor! It smells HORRIBLE! Alex is on the verge of vomiting himself...WEAK! I was just bragging to everyone about how I dressed her in animal print for Animal Kingdom, God humbles the proud! :) Decisions, decisions. Do we leave and go back and get another outfit, do I buy an outfit in the park, or do we wear the extra shirt that Courtney brought for Ashton?? SIDENOTE: I. HATE. CLOTHING. WITH. CHARACTERS. ON. THEM. Actually, I HATE all things character! I didn't want to go back to the room, b/c we had dinner plans and it would have cut into our time at the park. I was willing to buy a character outfit to save the day. So, we put Ashton's extra shirt on and headed into the park. Ashton probably wears a 5T and Kaleigh and 18 month. Ashton is also a boy and Kaleigh a girl. Just a mental note, but in case you need a visual. Here is a picture!

But she was the cutest little "tiddle" girl, I've every seen! I went to several stores as soon as we went in and could not bring myself to buy any of the patchwork Mickey Mouse clothing. It was just awful. They didn't really have a toddler selection anyways. So you have it, she wore an over sized t-shirt in public ALL DAY!! Thanks Courtney for packing extra clothes after the first day of vomit! I am learning!

So we went to the safari ride first. Not crazy about animals either, but it was really fun. Kaleigh LOVES animals. We were too close to some of them for my comfort. I liked Animal Kingdom, it has a lot more shade than the other parks.
