Church Luau

Sunday we had a church luau. Some how they(unknown person) choose hot dogs(very Hawiian) and everyone brought sides. We passed out leis at the door, then prayed, and then everyone went through the LONG food line. The rest of the night was all about socializing...my fav!

A luau would not be complete without a hula dancer! She attends our church, but is from Hawaii! 

 I can't wait to go back to Hawaii next year and to a real luau! :)

We had a huge Hawaiian backdrop set up and Nate Uhl from church took professional pictures of all the families! So fun!

My friend Bambi's sister is an artist. She came and drew caricatures of the kids in the festive clothes. 

She did a great job! She had a super long line and stayed until the picnic was over to get everyone's done! 

It was a great night of fellowship! Love my church family!
